Week 28: Creamy/Chowders

This week, bring us your creamiest, silkiest soups and most New England chowdahs. (Fun etymology fact: the word “chowder” originated in America in the 1700s, tracing its roots to the French word chaudière, meaning a cauldron or pot.)

Soups do not have to contain dairy to qualify, as long as they are creamy or a chowder. Your clear broth chowders like Rhode Island clam chowder technically also qualify, for anyone feeling particularly contrarian.
