My Whitesville shirts won't shrink

I am 6'2, 162 lbs, and I ordered three sizes of Whitesville shirts: medium, large, and extra large. The medium fit me the best, but I posted various times on Reddit asking about shrinkage, and learned that the large could shrink up to one size or even more than one size after washing on cold and hang drying. So, I kept the large. I washed both shirts on cold and hang dried, and they shrunk, but not nearly as much as I expected. So I washed one on hot and put it in the dryer on hot. It was a bit tighter, but I measured it side by side with the cold washed shirt, and the measurements were almost exactly the same. I put both in the wash on hot and dried on hot again... nothing. Is there anything I can do to shrink these shirts? They fit well, but I would like the collar and sleeves to be tighter and the length to be shorter. I guess I should've stuck with medium!
