[TOMT] bathroom hair dye reverting to original hair color

Hello everyone, I've been having a specific movie/show scene on my mind lately and I can't get it off unless I know where it's coming from. I remember the scene like this:

Main character (either male or female, can't remember) is at a messy bathroom with a freshly dyed dark hair, trying to hide his/her natural blonde/white hair that resembles their dad or mom, can't recall if their parent is a villain of some sort, the bathroom is all messy with hair dye to no avail, since in a couple of seconds their hair turn back to their original blonde/white hair. So the main character just decides to let it be and stay that way.

I'd appreciate it a lot if someone could help !!
