Hey everyone!
This is my very first miniature, and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback. Please don’t hold back—I’d love to know what I did well, what I did wrong, and what I should focus on improving.
For this model, I tried practicing layering and glazing. I didn’t know about **zenithal priming** when I started, but I’ve learned about it since then and I’m planning to use it on my second miniature.
This model took me about a week to finish. If I include all the time I spent watching YouTube tutorials, learning techniques, and researching paints, it’s been quite a bit more than that.
If you have any good YouTube channels, guides, or other learning resources that really helped you improve, I’d love to check them out.
Also, what’s your opinion on paint markers for miniatures? I’ve seen quite a few people using them, but to be honest, acrylic paints seem a lot more fun and satisfying to me. Are markers actually worth trying?
One thing I already love about this hobby is how relaxing and calming it is. I really appreciate that, and I’m happy I’ve stepped into this world. I still have a lot to learn, both about the lore and about painting. Thanks in advance for any advice!
