My epic games account was hacked a couple days ago. I put in a recovery request to get the account back. I tried to use the email. It wouldn’t find the account. I tried to use the linked accounts to find the account. It couldn’t find it the only thing that would work is my epic games display name. When I put the request in, they got back to me at the 48 hours they did deny the request so I appealed the request she told me to put another request because she believes that I put it in for the wrong account mind you all the information that I gave went to one account and is the original email since 2017 so just with that information they should be able to find the account just with the email but I put timestamps of when I bought stuff. I put Time stamps when I link the account to different PlayStation accounts, but I just did another recovery for the account yesterday I gave her the ID for that recovery and she said it’s for the wrong account again that doesn’t make any sense to me if I am providing the OG original email when the account was made you should be able to find the account just from the original email even though it was changed by the hacker, I still have access to this email this is so crazy. I would never think that I would be going through this at this point. I truly don’t think I would begin the account back, but I have so much proof to prove that it’s my account but they’re saying that I’m putting the information in for the wrong account. I only have one account. The only thing that I could use was the epic games display name now I don’t know if the hacker changed the display name and then put my display name that was on my account on a different account so it would confused epic games because I can still look up the account with the display name but I’m not for sure if it’s the right one because he could’ve changed it and just put my display name on another account. i’ve started Fortnite when there was no skins at all on the game then the first battle pass came out. I just don’t understand how if I put the original email that was in to the recovery it can’t find it like that because that’s the original email, even though the hacker changed it and put another email. They should still be able to find the account with the original email. I shouldn’t have to find the account with the display name that’s what’s so confusing to me. I do think he changed the name and put my display name on another account to confuse me too. I don’t know if that’s possible, but I feel like it is. But I don’t wanna have to make a new account and restart over my account level was 3565 skins 276 rare skins 87
Battle pass level 56 this season if I did find my account online being sold, I would definitely buy it back because I feel like that’s all they’re trying to do is hack people’s accounts and some them online for good money I should be able to give my account back with just the original email and more information that’s how PlayStation works, but I guess epic games works a little bit different but the hacker changed everything so I guess there’s no way to find my account I guess if anybody does find my account online being sold, please let me know. I do not think epic games is gonna give me the account back even though I am the original owner in 2017. I have all the proof from 2017 to 2026 of this month. If anybody else is going through this problem, I hope you get your account back and I hope you don’t go through the troubles that I am going through right now. I am losing sleep over this even though it is a game. It was just a lot of money and time spent into this game. It’s really not about the money. It’s about my time in my effort that I put into this game, even though I can make a new account there would be no reason to make a new account cause this could happen again, and I lose everything again all my time spent. It’s just so crazy that I am the OG owner of this account and I cannot get it back because the hacker changed everything.
