Pattern class

I’m a brand-new sewer and I’m currently taking my first sewing class.

I've subscribed to Burda Easy because I wanted to start with beginner-friendly patterns. The problem is that I’ve been reading books and articles about sewing patterns, but pattern reading and garment construction just aren’t clicking for me yet.

I live in New York and learn best in a structured class. Does anyone know of a great in-person class in the NY area or a virtual course that really teaches how to read, understand, and use sewing patterns for garment making? I’d love something geared toward beginners that builds confidence step by step.
