Just had surgery, best thing to ever happen

Between tests and consultations and wait times and scheduling I had to wait a year in total to finally figure out the problem and take action to fix it. I was suffering every day the entire time and I just want to put this out there for anyone in a similar situation to let them know that it does get better. This surgery has completely renewed my body and I feel like I was given my life back. I had biliary hyperkinesia at 18 years old and it was ruining everything. The recovery was painful but it was ultimately successful and the problems are since gone and I’ve had no complications. If you are out there with a similar problem and are wondering if it will ever get better, I’m here as a testament of the fact that it will.
