Arriving one day earlier, what’s the best way to modify my hotel (The Edit) stay?

I have 3 night stay booked at a The Edit hotel, got a great points boost deal at the time.
but plans changed and I am arriving one day earlier.
Do I:
-call hotel or Chase travel to modify the booking?
-just cancel the whole thing and rebook?
-book the one night and hope they can merge the reservations so i have the same room?
I’m afraid if i (or they) cancel the whole thing and rebook, then my original points boost deal wont stand, as i price checked and it’s almost double now.
Also i want to keep The Edit benefits, and if i call the hotel i dont want to get that screwed up.
