Does the game actually get repetitive or boring?

I’ve seen a lot of people call the game boring after playing the first few cases because they said the game just repeats the same easy way to solve cases like a fingerprint and people say it’s always the same loop. The reason I ask is because it’s rare that I buy steam games and the only time I wanted one and actually brought it now I’ve been seeing people talk about how repetitive or Corning it is and I want a bang for my buck in terms of enjoyment.
