Employer screwed up payroll

A couple of days ago I was paid by my employer . Today I receive a call and they state that HR attached my direct deposit with MY NAME written on it , to a different employees file and they gave him my check and I received his check . Now they’re wanting to bring them a check for the funds the same day . Is there anything that can be done about this ?
