Who is Ralph Fiennes sports comparable?
Has the air of an actor that could be super selective about his work with prestige roles in Schindler's List and The English Patient, but will turn around and devote years to massive blockbuster franchises like Harry Potter and James Bond. Will pepper quirky roles in with a Wes Anderson movie or The Menu, and then do absolute schlock like the Clash of the Titans movies. He'll take on weirdo roles like the 28 Years Later movies, but it never feels like a forced thing where he's trying to be the "weird, crazy actor" like it feels like with someone like Nic Cage. Also has the quality of an athlete that if you're looking at their reference page, their career has been so long and varied that things will jump out that you forgot about like In Bruges or Kubo an the Two Strings.
Essentially his resume is one where he will appear in seemingly any movie but somehow does it in a way that feels natural and not just like he's chasing paychecks, or looking to pad his resume with eclectic roles. He's not the first actor to have a "one for them, one for me" vibe of a filmography, but I would argue no one does it more seamlessly. It just feels like he's doing it for the love of the game.
