I ordered a Prestige Royale Plus GT 02 gas stove on Amazon India, and it was supposed to be delivered on 10 July.

The tracking showed "Out for delivery" in the morning 10:59 AM. However, at 9:16 PM, the status suddenly changed to "Delivery Attempted – OTP Not Available." No delivery executive came to my house, no one called me, and obviously no OTP was requested.

I managed to get the contact number of the local delivery hub (Sattenapalle, Andhra Pradesh). The staff admitted they were waiting for an auto because the package is heavy and said they'd call me back after finding my parcel. They never called back and later stopped answering our calls. They are neglecting and saying auto only comes every 2-3 days.

To make matters worse, I received a WhatsApp message from Amazon saying the recipient didn't accept the delivery, which is completely false.

I've already:

Contacted Amazon Customer Care 3–4 times.

Asked them to escalate the issue.

Sent a detailed complaint email to cs-reply@amazon.in.

Has anyone else faced this kind of false delivery attempt? Does Amazon usually deliver the next day after such an escalation, or should I expect more delays?

Amazon falsely marked my gas stove as "Delivery Attempted – OTP Not Available" without even trying to deliver
