Coparenting with a restraining order in place

Conflict

Please tell me your stories and give me hope.
RO filed and granted within the last 8 months. RO was violated and ex was arrested, released after 36 hrs. Nothing seemed to change at all. Parenting time stayed the same, actually expanded over time but has not been address since violation. Now it’s EOW pickup from school on Fri / drop off Mon and 50/50 in summer.

How can this be? How can ex be a threat to me but not to the minor child (7). Trial is set for next month. Attorney says parenting time is just temporary right now. I have no hope. There’s so much damage being done. This summer has been horrible. Child coming home emotional, unregulated, not rested, won’t eat. Ex will not disclose child’s location. After filing (by ex) that ex will be homeless, cannot provide for child, had car repossessed (in an attempt to gain access to my personal accounts - money was never shared in the marriage, all separated).

Ex has filed over 35 motions, emergency hearings and lawsuits against me in the last 8 months. None of which have been true or worthy of upholding. Attorney fees alone are over 60k.

(Ex owes over $100k in CS in a diff state for a diff adult child but has created an alias to regain his license and moved out of state to avoid the consequences).

All that to be said, ex bouncing child around from hotel, to couch, to his office. Currently child is staying on ex’s new partners couch with other adult roommates in the home. This is the third partner introduced in 5 months. Please tell me a hopeful story about when you had an RO and it ended up benefitting you in the way of less interaction with your abusive ex. Every drop off there’s a negative comment. Every week there’s a new angle or lie to try to manipulate the child and the court. I cannot even imagine the things ex is saying to our child. Ex wants child forensically interview to “prove abuse”. RO incident involved recording the child during an abusive event so I feel the court should block ex from involving the minor unless granted by the court as necessary.

I’m not sure why posting, just feeling hopeless. Thanks
