How do I deal with my insecurity

So I’m a guy and my girl best friend just recently got broken up with by her boyfriend of 4 years. I accidentally brought it up in text conversation and she’s been leaving me on seen for every single text (admittedly a few Im really insecure). I get really insecure when it comes to making my close friends upset and im scared she doesn’t like or want to talk to me anymore. I know the best thing to do is just leave it alone for a bit but I’m finding it so hard not to text her. Please help I need something like reassurance of some kind or advice on what to do
