As a religious person, I don't trust anyone who tries to "teach" me my religion. Here’s why.

I use AI to remove my grammatical mistakes and put my words with more clarity.

The Main Idea

I believe in God, and I value my faith. But I will not believe anyone who tries to teach me my religion. It does not matter how smart, highly regarded, or educated they are.

Here is my logic.

Science vs. Literature

When someone teaches science, they teach facts. Gravity works the same for everyone. It doesn't change based on who is looking at it.

Scriptures are different. They are written as literature. Literature is full of poetry and stories. By its very nature, literature means different things to different people.

#The Humpty Dumpty Example

Think about simple nursery rhymes we all know.

Take Humpty Dumpty. To me, it is a simple lesson on being careful. Don't sit on a high, unstable wall because you could fall.

But someone else could read the exact same poem and think: "It means if the King's soldiers catch us doing something wrong up there, we will have a great fall."

It is a four-line rhyme, yet it already has two completely different meanings.

#The Little Red Riding Hood Example

Look at the story of Red Riding Hood. She goes to her grandmother's house, but a wolf has replaced her grandmother.

On the surface, it is just a children's story. But on a deeper level, it is a warning. It teaches you to be aware of the people around you. Sometimes, people close to you might have hidden problems with you, but you don't know it because you were never taught to look closer.

#The Problem with Teachers

If simple stories can be deep, shallow, or dark depending on who reads them, how can a religious leader claim they have the one true meaning of a massive holy text?

When a guru or scholar teaches you, they are not giving you objective truth. They are just giving you their personal opinion, filtered through their own life and their own ego.

-----------

The Irony of Public Religion

Talking to God is supposed to be deeply private. How did it become a public show? We have normalized this so much that we don't even realize how strange it is.

Sharing a perspective can be good sometimes. But many scriptures explicitly say not to boast about your faith or show off your devotion.

Yet, everyone is out here preaching and shouting about it. Why? Because they haven't actually read the text themselves. Someone else told them what to believe, and they are just repeating it.

#Keep It Direct and Clear

My view is simple: If God wanted me to know how to worship and how I will be blessed, the instructions should be clear enough for me to understand on my own.

A Creator would not hide vital rules behind cryptic riddles, loopholes, or massive academic debates. If a text requires a PhD or a special middleman just to decode what God "actually meant," then it wasn't meant for a regular human soul to begin with.

If I can understand it, I will follow it. If I can't, then God never intended for me to do it that way. I trust my own conscience more than a stranger's opinion.

What do you think? Let me know!
