No maintenance therapy suggested (BRCA-negative) — anyone in a similar situation?

family/friend/caregiver

My mother, 65F, has had ovarian cancer twice — first in 2021, recurred again in Oct 2025. Both times treated with surgery + chemo, and she’s currently in remission with normal CA125.

She’s BRCA-negative, and her oncologist hasn’t recommended any maintenance therapy after this recurrence.

Has anyone else been in this situation — BRCA-negative, no maintenance therapy suggested after a recurrence? What did you or your family end up doing, and how did that conversation with your doctor go?

Would appreciate hearing how others navigated this.
