Trying to live harmoniously with the talkers - advice?

#HelpMe

So I have profound hearing loss and wear a hearing aid. Have also been going to OTF a long time (since 2015). With a hearing aid and the coaches on a mic, I can usually hear what’s going on just fine. Although it’s always been something that comes up on occasion, recently there seems to be an uptick in other members talking through the entire workout, including when the Coach is timing the treads. It’s began to impact my workout - for instance today, the people next to me were talking so loudly that I couldn’t tell if the Coach was saying base, walking recovery, or all out during the second tread block. It’s frustrating for me, but I also recognize that all of us are paying members, and I don’t want anyone to feel like they can’t chat with their neighbor if that’s what they want to do. I’ve tried different things - talking with the Coach and Head Coach after class, choosing a station away from the folks that I’ve figured out like to talk (the two today were late) - and it seems to happen more instead of less. Would love to hear from other members, Coaches, and SAs what they would do in this scenario. I just want us all to be able to participate in the workout….
