Bioshock Infinite on pharmausaca helped me understand gnosis

I picked up Bioshock infinite for the first time in a few years as I kind of got a craving for fps action and the Nintendo eshop had the complete collection on sale for $10. What a deal.

Coincidentally, it was 4th of July...

Then I remembered 4th of July on 2018 was the last time I played it. And how I'd played it on a combo of 50mg -60mg harmaline and 125 mg dmt fumerate salts back then.

And it was "oh shit here we go again."

I didn't go for an ego death this time, I didn't need to. For me this will always be a piece of media that takes me out of my mind... But yeah I may have dosed some L (just to enhance the experience.)

Back in 2018 I was living at my mom's house, very stuck in life. Now I'm out on my own with a kid.

Still stuck... Or am I?

The Comstock airship assault is about when I started peaking. The discomfort of the trip didn't match my drive to finish it and see the ending again.

This wasn't my first time playing Infinite. It wasn't my first time doing maoi assisted digestion of dmt. But it was the first time experiencing the two together...

And let me tell you that impact HIT HARD. During the ending that last scene. When Booker/Comstock is drowned by Elizabeth and all those multiple versions of herself blink out of existence.

I had to cradle myself during the credits.

That glimpse into eternity on an otherwise unremarkable... No. COMPLETELY DULL Independence day...

That was world shattering. Like mirrors breaking. Images of my being reflected in each shard.

There was this overwhelming feeling of despair took over. Like this agoraphobia, of the vastness of time and space itself.

It's all happening at once but time protects us? Having limits?

Everyone who speaks of the black cube of Saturn talks about it with hate. Is it just in our nature to despise what limits us? Do you think we might choose the containers we exist in? Are my limits self imposed?

The monotony is a blessing but also this illusion time casts over us. **Every moment has the potential to be anything until our act of observing it collapses it into something definitive.** Something we define.

We choose what we want this moment to be.

I think Bioshock infinite helped me understand what I was feeling and perceiving during these DMT experiences.

**I'm deciding my reality.** My choices.

So dear reader, if you made it this well and far you might be asking yourself "psychlesnake, how the fuck does a mid 2010s video game have any affect on something as intense as an hours long reality dissolving DMT trip you stupid idiot?"

SHUT YO HO ASS UP MOTHAFUCKER IMMA ABOUT TO SLAP SOME KNOWLEDGE ON DAT ASS.

You see my dear ho ass reader, the media structures the trip.

In this way it gave me an understanding of Gnosis before I even ever heard of the term.

Bioshock Infinite is literally a rollercoaster ride through Quantum Mechanics. At the end you are LITERALLY taken by the hand and shown the infinite potential of reality and the importance your personal choices have on collapsing probability into definitive (both quantitative and qualitative) outcome.

This same sense of seeing infinite light houses is what I feel, see and hear in that DMT area. Infinite possibilities for what this moment could be, some not entirely probably some all entirely certain.

It's all happening at once in this very moment.

You and I, Elizabeth, Booker/Comstock, Daisy Fitzroy, your neighbor, that bully from highschool, the milk man fucking your mother, etc...

We're all the same consciousness exploring itself. Putting limits on its self. Trying to understand and experience itself in different ways.

This is existence. We are a great ONE divided infinitely.

Time is not my cage, it is the nest I choose to return back to after flying through that eternal expanse in my little DMT rocket ship.

Flying through the sky.

Little Einsteins.
