dexmethylphenidate and appetite

hi everyone! i was diagnosed with adhd a few months ago and after trialing a different medication i was switched to dexmethylphenidate.

i really like it but my biggest issue is that ill take it and when its kicked in and working in full force ill get SO hungry but no food sounds appetizing or like i could even put it down. so then im hungry and cant eat. then i cant focus because im hungry and all i can focus on is how hungry i am.

it’s kind of a vicious cycle. does anyone have advice on this? thank you
