Played oneshot, loved it. Should I buy world machine edition?

All I know is that it's like, a console friendly port (I obviously played on pc so it's not a necessity) and it gives more lore or something through holograms? And there's like, a built in desktop which makes it console friendly. Since I've already played it, does it add more to the story or am I not missing out on anything if I don't.
