Had my anterior resection

Treatment Question

Hey all - I had a robotically assisted anterior resection on Monday to remove a tumour from my sigmoid colon. The operation was a success (waiting on lymph node biopsy) so I know I am blessed, but wow, I’m sore!
I am home now and resting but was wondering how long it may be until the pain lessened when trying to mobilise!
I’m on 10mg of oxycodone every 4 hours and I am managing but coughing or moving is pretty unpleasant!
For anyone who had a similar operation, how long was it until the pain settled a bit allowing you to rise up from laying down for example?
Thank you so much for any answers! Much appreciate any clues!
