Hope. From Atlanta.

As I drove around my Atlanta neighborhood after the loss to Belgium, I noticed that for every basketball hoop I saw in front of someone’s house, I saw maybe 4-5 soccer nets on front lawns.

I know this may not amount to anything substantial or real for awhile. But I do think something has shifted in the cultural zeitgeist around soccer.
