Wish I’d known 3 yard dumpsters existed before my tile demo

Spent last week pulling up the original tile floor in my Highland Park kitchen. There was a 1950s mortar bed under it, so what looked like a small job turned into well over a ton of rubble.

Called around for a dumpster and every company quoted me a 10 yard like it was the only option. Almost booked one until a guy at the supply store said to ask specifically for a 3 yard. Turns out some LA companies carry them, they just don’t advertise it. Half the footprint, lower sides so you’re not lifting chunks of mortar over your head, and it handled the weight fine.

Would have saved myself a week of second guessing. Anyone else run into this? Curious if small bins are normal elsewhere or if hiding them is an LA thing.
