Rec your favorite GEN fics

Haven't really dived into the WHA fics on AO3 but with as many amazing fanartists as there are in this fandom, there must be a ton of great fics too.

Please rec me your faves. Sorting by kudos on AO3 sometimes means missing hidden gems.

Parameters: GEN ONLY. NO SHIPPING OR ROMANCE OF ANY SORT. NO AI.

Wholesome, tragic, action/adventure, slice of life, modern AU, etc. Any genre except romance is welcome.

Gushing over the fic and why you love it is also very welcome.

(Caught up to the manga so no worries on that front.)
