Any advice from carrier players please?

I mainly play surface ships but have recently tried out the British CV line (on Furious) but can’t seem to impact the match remotely.

My strategy so far has been drop fighters to protect teammates whenever possible and then go find and harass the DDs. My bomb drops are mostly on target, so I can eventually sink or heavily damage DDs, but it’s usually too little too late. Other times, I will get unlucky with bomb dispersion and just end up chasing a DD round all match, with minimal damage.

What is your general strategy to win the game and how do you prioritise targets?
