Almost 2 weeks PP- Pumping Questions

TRIGGER WARNING: OverSupply (add spoiler to pics)

I'm not sure if I tagged this right so sorry!

I had my baby girl on 6/29/26 via C-section after failed vaginal birth. I pump and use a bottle so my husband and I can share bonding time and feeding responsibilities. She eats about 80-100 ml per feeding session, sometimes a little less. We're also open to supplementing with formula when needed, though so far I've been able to supply more than enough for her. For example, yesterday I pumped about 1,000 ml and nearly filled the Dr. Brown's pitcher we use. Today, in one pumping session, I got about 100 ml per boob.

Since she's been born, I have been pumping every 3 hours around the clock. At her pediatrician's appointment Monday the pediatrician said with the amount I'm already producing and the fact we're more than open to supplementing with formula, I can drop down to pumping every 4 hours instead of every 3 and even have one 6-hour break at night to get better sleep as long as my boobs allow me to.

For anyone who has dropped to less pumping this early with an oversupply, did it work out for you? Did it negatively impact your supply at all or did it work out fine?
