Pulling 8 month old from daycare due to illnesses?

Childcare

I knew to expect some, but she has been sick literally nonstop since her very first visit there 4 weeks ago, 103 fever when not medicated for the past week, multiple doctors visits where they really can't do anything, today with a 104 fever and urgent pediatrician visit to start antibiotics for a suspected infection.

It's absolutely ridiculous and I don't think I can accept that this is how it has to be. I'm working on figuring out a different solution with family if at all possible. I know some say it's going to happen when they start any group setting, but I can't see how having multiple colds/viruses that mutate ever year provides her significant future immunity.

Just wondering if anyone else has been in this position, what you decided, and how it went.
