Short and sweet treasures

PC

I have since long been a grindy, grand scale gamer, and I’m currently battling my way through Black myth: Wukong, which is one of the most beautiful games I’ve witnessed in a long time.

But since becoming the father of an energetic little toddler, I don’t have the same time I used to, and even when I get the time - I rarely have any mental energy left to focus on high intensity fights or things I have to commit hours to, sometimes I don’t know when the battery will run out and I’ll call it a night.

I’m looking for something short and sweet that tells a beautiful story and really captures and immerses me, but I should also be able to finish in about 25 hours. I miss the feeling of reaching a satisfying ending and completing a game.

I remember a game I played long ago called ”a story about my uncle”. Finished it in one sitting, and I don’t really know why I was even playing it, but it is one of my fondest memories in gaming.

Some background on what I have recently been playing/played alot of during my years:
Minecraft, Satisfactory, Terraria, Factorio, Skyrim, Balatro, Pokemon, ETS2, wow classic, need for speed underground 2

Countless of hours of multiplayer competitive stuff like League, Cs2, rocket league, overwatch.

I think that sums it all up!

TLDR: Grindy gamer who likes longterm challenges and games is now a dad and wants to be immersed and once again feel the joy of truly completing something.
