First-Time Thailand Honeymoon Phuket Hotel Recommendations!

Recommendation

Hey everyone!

My fiancée and I are going to Thailand for our honeymoon this November, and we're hoping to get some recommendations for where to stay in Phuket.

We've already bought our flights and booked our first 4 nights in Bangkok, so picking our resort in Phuket is pretty much the last thing we have left to plan.

We'll be in Phuket for 5 nights, and our budget is around $500–700 USD per night. Since it's our honeymoon, we're okay spending a little more if there's a place that's really worth it.

Neither of us has been to Thailand before, so we're having a hard time deciding which part of Phuket to stay in. We're looking for somewhere that's relaxing with beautiful views, but we'd also like to be able to get out and explore without everything being really far away. We'd love to check out local restaurants, markets, viewpoints, temples, or anything else people think is worth seeing.

One thing that might be different from a lot of honeymooners is that we're honestly not big beach people. We'll probably check out the beach at least once, but it's definitely not the main reason we're coming to Phuket. We'd rather have a great overall experience with good food, nice scenery, and plenty to explore than just spend every day lying on the beach.

We're pretty open to different areas and resorts, so I'd love to hear where you'd stay if you were in our shoes. Are there any hotels or areas that really stood out to you? Any that you'd avoid?

Thanks! Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.
