Does YouTube Music’s autoplay become more accurate over time?

I’m Brazilian, so sorry if my English isn’t perfect. I’ve been testing YouTube Music for a few days, and one thing has been bothering me.

I started listening to Brazilian pop, expecting autoplay to keep recommending songs with a similar sound. Instead, after a while, it started mixing in Brazilian R&B and even American songs. The recommendations themselves weren’t bad, they just weren’t what I was trying to listen to. Compared to Spotify or Apple Music, YouTube Music feels less precise at staying within the same genre or vibe.

Does the algorithm get more accurate over time as it learns my taste, or is this just how YouTube Music works??
