Honest opinion on a very regressive notion followed by most Telugu audience

Okay so this is one of my very few posts here since I am a North Ammayi but I am into South film industry (mostly telugu & tàmil) since last 8-9years now. This will be a long paragraph so only read fully if you are patient & interested in the writing. And I wanted to ask.

Why is this sudden hate on Sreeleela? (Wrote this because I saw 20+ hateful tweets on my X Timeline + 2-3 posts here in Tollywood súbs as well).

Calling her all sorts of names such as industry plant & iron leg and what not. Did you all that she started in kànnada film industry with a debut hero and then again debuted in telugu with a debut hero? You all were the ones who hyped her as dancing queen, telugu ammayi in TFI after so long, Star actress back when dhamaka was a blockbuster. I personally remember how you guys used to put down krithi shetty back then comparing her with sreeleela. And no none of them were paid tweets but original fan accounts of actors.

Some of you guys find it very easy to blame an actress for failure and move on and even start to shame any hyped actress once a new girl enters the industry. First Pooja hegde then krithi shetty then Sreeleela next one will be decided till a new girl enters TFI. Now it is Bhagyshrii Borse who is the most hyped actress of TFI. I have nothing against her she's a good performer but can't you guys appreciate one actress without putting down any other? Once some actress gains fame you guys immediately start comparing her with old ones, trolling them to no extent.

When actors give back to back flops no one says them a thing right now I was going to search the reviews for lenin to book my tickets for tomorrows show but more than actual reviews I saw tweets like if Sreeleela was there movie would be confirmed disaster, thank god iron left the movie, best decision removing that iron leg and what not. Isn't this straight up hypocrisy?

How is she to be blamed for a movie's failure if she is not the one who wrote her character, she is not the one who wrote the screenplay, she is not the one who directed the movie. If you replace her in her most of her films even then the result would have been same because she appears in every movie for just 15-20mins at max. Even removing her character from the movie would bring no change to the movie. Till now she has not done a single decent role in TFI to prove her acting, do you guys know why? Because you all were the ones who hyped her just because of her dance, praised her to no end because of her dance completely ignoring her acting and now that she wants to play it safe by the same formula you guys troll her to no end. She was good in the knnada movies she did, even in her debut movie she was good (im talking especially about the acting here). It is not that she ain't a decent actress but it was you guys who pushed her to go for glam roles by hyping her simply for her dance. If you see her knnada movies she has proper roles in all 3 of them but Telugu ones?

None, not even a single decent role except bhagavanth kesari in which she has the most screentime in her entire filmography. And it was a super hit if you guys remember. Im thankful that bhagyashri was lucky enough to get the opportunity of kaantha with her debut itself otherwise the same sentiment would have followed for her too (last time I remember she was getting blamed but some of you guys defended her with kaantha im happy for that) . Hopefully lenin will be her first commercial success. It's big 2026 guys, grow up and stop blaming the heroines for failures of movies and encourage them for doing good movies.
