Songs where the main melody and bassline are encouraging different moods

A very specific thing I like to hear in music is an uplifting or hopeful melody with a foundation of somber or mournful bass. That juxtaposition makes the bassline so much more groovy in my opinion. It just helps you really sink into what the bass is building.

The recommendation doesn't have to be those exact moods, but I would love it if they all were. A clear example would be the Robot Museum theme from Mega Man 7. The song is a medley of several past MM songs, but the part I love comes after the first transition.
