I guess the first few books I read on my superior devices meshed well with the native reader, but since then, I've almost come to the conclusion that the reader capabilities of supernote devices is unusable (in my use-case). Pdf's are often too small on the nomads and there's no reflow abilities - I don't really have an issue with that though as reflow is often unusable on devices that do offer that capability.

Where I'm kind of drawing the line is epub abilities. I can't fathom a reason why the native reader can't support "-"'s, retain in-text table formatting, TOC links, etc.

The digest feature is (for me) the best reading/studying ability of any eink device. Its function seems to demand a native reader companion to be complete.

**My question is: is supernote working to improve the native reader app to just do the basics like properly illustrate "-"'s and retain table formatting in epubs?**

The nomad, for me, is perfect in size and function for on the move studying and writing..... it could be for reading as well if the native reader just received some basic updates. Right now it's almost to the point that I have to carry my kindle basic to read, then when I want to add something to digest I have to open the file on the supernote device, hunt down the page, then add it to the digest.
