I’m so close to crashing out. My buddy in NC sent me a package of childhood mementos and some shirts from the town we grew up in. I figured being close to Orlando, my package would arrive pretty quickly as we have a big distribution hub. USPS usually does right by me. The tracker went dark for two days. When I finally got an update, I learned the package had been sent to Lexington, KY. When it finally updated after 12 hours and I saw it departing Kentucky, I figured it was on a truck heading south.

Instead I got an alert that my package made it to Cincinnati, 900+ miles from its destination in central Florida. Since the Cincy update my tracker has gone dark. I wouldn’t be surprised if this damn package is on the west coast now. When I called USPS customer service and battled through the phone tree, the agent at the other end of the line seriously told me the package was scheduled to arrive tonight, right after acknowledging its in Ohio, I’m in Florida, and it’s being sent via truck…

The agent told me they couldn’t even investigate or flag the package until Monday. I’m so annoyed. The worst part is I have a raging case of the flu, so I
was really looking forward to getting my childhood momentous and some stuff from my childhood hometown.

I don’t think I’m getting my package today… (for context I’m in Florida)
