First IVF Retrieval Coming Up… Looking for Advice!

Hi everyone! I’m new to this community and currently in my first IVF stim cycle.

Today was stim day 10, and I had a monitoring appointment. My doctor said that if we did my egg retrieval tomorrow, they expect to retrieve around 12 eggs. Instead, they scheduled my retrieval for Monday to give a few more follicles time to mature and hopefully increase that number.
My estrogen level today was 3,690, so they’re starting me on cabergoline to help reduce my risk of OHSS.

Does anyone have any advice on what to expect over the next few days with cabergoline, the trigger shot, and egg retrieval? I’m completely new to all of this and don’t really know what to expect.

This has been such a long journey to get here, so I’m incredibly excited, but also really nervous. Any tips, advice, or words of encouragement would mean so much. Thank you! 💕
