Anatomy and Physiology
Hey yall, I am enrolled in a surgery tech program and right now we are currently taking anatomy and physiology. I’m not required to take the course since the units from my undergrad degree transferred over, so I’m just reading along with the class as a refresher. However, the course material goes super in depth in the A&P of the body (i.e. cellular level, the name of every tissue, etc). I am working as an EMT right now so I have a pretty solid understanding of basic anatomy and physiology.
As a surgical tech, how much anatomy and physiology do really need to know/use in the field?
