Stubhub data point

Sharing a data point now that my credits have all posted. Used the first stubhub credit on May 31. I also activated a capital one offer for 20% cash back. I just have a checking account and yesterday (jul 9) the 20% cash back posted to my account.

In addition, I bought tickets on laptop vs app so the paze checkout option was available for 11xpoints.

2 tickets to a show I was already planning to see, total was $315, received 150 chase credit, and an additional $62 cash back, plus 3456 points. Im satisfied.

However in the end I paid about $60 less (total) compared to purchasing on ticketmaster. So while this is a cool benefit, the stubhub markup definitely eats away at the credit and its value definitely depends on the show. Without the capital one savings, the chase credit wouldn't have made a big difference. The stubhub price on the computer was also $20 higher than on the app. I paid it to ensure the capital one bonus was activated plus to use paze bonus, but it could end up being a wash to get those extra points.
