I believe KD is the GOAT for several reasons.

1. Lead and carried the golden state warriors to 2 rings, 2 finals mvps. He beat the so called best player in the world, LeBron James by himself.

2. He is unstoppable on offense. Players can’t contest him. The only time players can “defend” KD is when he himself misses shots.

3. He can score anywhere. Even scoring legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe have weaknesses, Michael Jordan can’t score on the three and Kobe struggles with efficiency. KD can do it from everywhere without flaws.

4. KD on defense doesn’t need to try. Who can go through a 7 footer with very long arms and big hands? Good luck trying to get through KD if you are an NBA player. You’ll need it.

5. Despite not having many rings like Michael Jordan and Kobe, KD’s rings make up for the lack of help he had in his other teams. Even with Russ on the thunder, there was no bench and KD was always the main guy.

6. He also won an mvp when LeBron James was in his prime. LeBron should have gotten the MVP when Wade and Bosh were washed? So why didn’t he? Because KD showed him who the real best player in the world was…

There are many more reasons why KD is the GOAT, but these 6 are starting arguments on my mind. Can you debunk KD’s Goat status? It is would be very challenging…

Kevin Durant is the GOAT. Here is why.
