Period 1 day late

When are pregnancy tests usually accurate? I took a test yesterday on day of expected period and today this morning and they both came out negative. LOTS of cramping and I usually DONT cramp before or during my period so it’s confusing me. I did cramp when I was pregnant with my daughter. And I’ve been so tired. My husband is telling me he hasn’t seen me this tired since I was pregnant which is also getting in my head! Currently doing laundry and falling asleep halfway through. I have a 5 year old so it’s been a while. I don’t know what the DPO is since we were not trying. But based on those symptoms and the negative tests would you think I’m pregnant or just a late period?
