Is Quant possible with a 2:1?
Hey folks,
I’m based in the UK. I’ve heard back from my uni (Imperial) on my uni results for year 3.
I have a rolling average of 65 across my three years. I have one more year left of my program, an MSci in mathematics. I’ve had a turbulent couple of years in terms of my uni grades. I am probably likely to graduate with a 2:1 in MSci Maths.
Given this, what is my prospects in starting a career as a Quantitative Trader? How much does grades play a role?
I always hear people having these roles with a first class. If anyone can shed a bit of light on this, I truly appreciate it. ❤️
Thank you!
