Need feedback on tentative itinerary for June 2027

Thinking way ahead here, but I'm excited because I just booked our plane tickets.

Day 1: Fly into Liberia, plane lands at 2pm, rent car, drive to Samara (or should we stay at a hotel near airport for the night?)

Day 2-3: Hang out at the beach, maybe snorkeling or whale-watching

Day 4: Drive to La Fortuna

Day 5-7: La Fortuna activities. Mostly hiking, nature walks, waterfalls, hanging bridges. We aren't so into canyoning or zip lining.

Day 8: Leave for Rincon de la Vieja. Stop at Rio Celeste on the way.

I was thinking of staying here, because though we will be budget travelers, I like the idea of staying at at least one place with hot springs included. Also, I like the idea of waterfalls on the property.

Day 9: Rincon de la Vieja

Day 10: Fly home out of Liberia.

We're open to all ideas. We'd like to do a few tours, etc, but want to do natural parks and waterfalls on our own. Hotel recommendations or alternate beach recommendations are welcome as well!
