Question for Air force folks
So its always been a dream of mine to join the air force and im finally pursuing it
Gonna take my asvab soon and be ready for meps
But im really sad about medical screening because i heard eczema is a disqualifier and i deal with very situational small eczema flare ups, the thing is i only get it when i get in contact with harsh chemicals for long periods of time like weeks
Then ill develop small bumps
since im currently an automotive mechanic and ive been for years thats why i have history with it
always in contact with chemicals, recently ive kept flare up free for a while but theres has been times where i went to get a cream prescribed to me
When i worked at target for a year i never had any eczema issues basically when im not in contact with chemical like engine oil
I wont ever break out, im debating going to my dermatologist and getting this specifically noted on paper so i show meps why i have those visits to the dermatologist
Im not sure if they will believe me because i do have visits and prescription cream but only for very situational flare ups
Will i be ok or am i cooked:( ?
