Dad Problem's

So basically there's this kid in my neighborhood who i have been friends with since elementary school we haven't talked for like a couple months idk why. but today my dad asked if he said something rude and mean to me while we were walking to the house, i felt uncomfortable like why are you saying this right know so i yelled to him shouting can we not talk about this right now, my dad got angry and yelled back and shouted for my phonei was really embaressed it is like in the neighborhood everyone could here, should i still talk to him i am still pissed at him he won't let me have my phone for the entire day. Also he always rushes me to go to places and has little patience and is very tempered to be around.
