Hi everyone

Have attached all the screenshots of reddit dm and whatsapp

Bought a detangling brush from u/pineappletwerk and cuz I have curly hair, I specifically asked in our reddit dm if I could use it in the shower on wet hair before buying. She told me "you can surely detangle in the shower too," claimed it was a UK dupe for tangle teezer and even said she personally uses it and likes it better than the OG tangle teezer

So I bought the purple one. The v first time I took it into the shower the metallic paint/dye started bleeding EVERYWHERE. purple dye all over my hands, the shower area and my toilet lid. It literally looked like I was dyeing my hair purple…

SO I immediately messaged her on wp with a video and pictures. she starts telling me: "I haven't used it IN the shower- I suggest you don't get it soaked."

Since the brush is basically useless to me now without staining my bathroom, I just asked for a 50% refund and she flatout refused just kept invalidating my experience, saying that because no other buyer complained it wasnt her problem and told me I could just keep using it because the dye "can easily be washed away” so i told her ill be making a post here and things got worse lol

She finally agreed to refund me but told me ill have to MAKE AN APPRECIATION POST cuz she needs them to get “verified and stuff” and didnt want to risk losing buyers so i asked her for a full refund and she started calling me greedy, immature and stuff

I was trying to be understanding at first, but the sheer audacity of trying to bribe me for a fake “appreciation post changed my mind completely😭 like she wouldn't give me 50% for a defective product??? but she asked me lie to you guys so she could get more sales? Once she crossed that line and started calling me greedy and immature for not wanting to play along with her scam I absolutely wanted every single penny back cuz wtf bro

Im just super disappointed by the false advertising but demanding a fake appreciation post in exchange for a refund on a defective product is NEXT LEVEL shady. Just wanted to put this out there so you guys know exactly who youre buying from smh

Negative seller experience with u/pineappletwerk.
