UPDATE 4: i genuinely don't know what to think anymore💔

it's been about a month since my last update.

ever since school ended, we've still been talking almost every day, meeting up whenever we could, going on walks, and everything honestly felt... normal.

and then, completely out of nowhere, he started dating a girl from his neighborhood .

i wish i was joking.

i didn't even hear it from him. one of our mutual friends mentioned it, and i honestly thought they were messing with me until i saw them together myself.

he never told me.

not once.

i'm not even upset because he has a girlfriend. i'm upset because he didn't think i should know.

what makes this even more confusing is that nothing changed between us.

he still texts me good morning.

he still asks me to hang out.

he still randomly sends me memes because "they reminded him of me."

last weekend he even asked if i wanted to go get ice cream with him, just the two of us.

i've been trying to keep a little distance because i want to respect his relationship, but he keeps acting like everything is exactly the same.

at this point i honestly don't know if i completely misunderstood him, or if he's just as confused as i am.

either way... my head hurts 😭
