Foudnational roots thats inspired Christianty in the East

I recently came across the fact that parts of Eastern orthodox tradition were actually very inspired by the shamniac roots which modern day is called witchcraft! I find this very intresting after going to an Eastern Orthodox church for the first time! Is there any other relgions that would be of interest that i should research? Im curently agnostic and open to whatever you guys find or share, i find the ideas of Eastern Orthodoxy to be true in a sense,Thank you!
