Two soft markers on Anatomy scan but low risk NIPT.

Need Advice

Thanks for reading this post and providing and guidance you may have.

**Pregnancy details:**

\- All my ultrasounds have been with an MFM clinic.

\- Low risk basic NIPT from LifeLabs Panorama.

\- 12 week NT ultrasound confirmed a nasal bone present and a normal nuchal translucency.

\- 18 week my anatomy scan showed a small nasal bone (which was considered a non-issue as my NIPT came back low risk and there was only 1 soft marker for Trisomy 21). Nuchal fold was 4.8mm. They needed me to come back to assess some brain abnormalities though. 18th percentile baby.

\- 20 weeks showed the same brain abnormalities. No measurements of nasal bone or nuchal fold were assessed. 11th percentile baby.

\- At 21 weeks (today) I had a neurosonogram confirming no brain abnormalities (yay!) however the abdominal portion of the exam found the nuchal fold measures 7.1mm (above 6mm).

**Summary: there are two soft markers for Trisomy 21 noted (i.e. short nasal bone at 18 weeks, thick nuchal fold at 21 weeks) but at different ultrasounds. Low risk NIPT.**

This is my fifth pregnancy and I only have one living child. My daughters nasal bone was not visualized at 20 weeks but it was considered a non-issue because my NIPT came back low risk.

I am 33, husband is 34. Our ethnicity is South Asian.

If you were in this situation, what would you do?
