Reconstructed America - "My Guardian Angel" - the 2012 RNC - VP Selection - Round 2- Choose Curtis Sliwa's Running Mate

Curtis Sliwa is doing everything, going everywhere, and talking to everyone on his road to the Republican National Convention. An interview with Conservative news network here, a talking panel with Progressives, and just some regular public appearances here and there. And people know him more and more.


However, Americans still don't know the Running Mate of the Mayor of New York City. Sliwa is yet to decide who he will rely on to be his number two. The Shortlist is becoming smaller by the day, though, and there are already 3 Finalists.

Here's how Sliwa could kill two birds with one stone. Michael Powell is a respectable member of the Libertarian League who is skeptical of Sliwa's Economic Policy, so picking a Libertarian as the Running Mate could ensure their support. However, Michael is also the son of former President Colin Powell, who is still influential in the National Union Caucus. So by choosing Michael Powell, Sliwa could make two Factions line up in support of him. After all, Michael was Elected Governor of Virginia at the same time as Sliwa. It would be poetic for them to beat Ford together.


Senator Neil Bush of Texas is a popular politician with a good reputation and great name recognition. Although he ran in the American Solidarity's Primary and didn't do so well, he could become a key to success for Sliwa. The younger brother of the late George W. Bush, Neil can be a safe choice for the Mayor to be successful in the South while not scaring off the Moderates. His Economic views also align well with Sliwa's, and they would work fine as a team. However, Bush may be too safe considering the situation. With Bush, Sliwa might do well in the Election, but he might not bring attention for the Mayor to actually win. Who knows, maybe Senator Bush will surprise everyone and charm his way into Americans liking him just like Texans do.


Senator from Utah Mia Love would be an ambitious choice. She is Super Young, clever, and generally likable. A member of the Libertarian League who has a lot of enthusiasm behind her, Love is seen as a rising star in the Party. Her Election as Senator was a surprise, and she isn't scared of sharing her mind either. If Elected Vice President, she would be the First African American Female and the First Mormon Vice President in history. This selection would bring a lot of attention. However, some think that Senator Love is too confrontational, and she can present some risks. With that being said, if Curtis Sliwa wants a bold pick for the Running Mate, Mia Love is it.
