[Acne] [Product Request] Dealing with keratin plugs and sensitive skin
Hello, I have been more barrier-focused in the last year and that has definitely helped my acne. I still struggle with lots of closed comedones and keratin plugs, however.
Unfortunately, I have eczema-prone, dry skin, and I do not tolerate glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide or adapalene. I have not used salicylic acid products very much, but I do worry it may have a similar effect.
I have had mild success with azelaic acid, using the Anua 10% serum.
Any product recommendations for someone with sensitive skin?
I typically use a face cloth dampened with warm water and gently exfoliate in the mornings. I’m open to trying new cleansers.
I recently tried the cosrx triple hyaluronic moisturizing cleanser and it broke me out so bad!! It completely stripped my skin to feeling squeaky clean and dry, and I have been trying to recover my skin barrier for the last week since using it.
I use round lab dokdo toner, skin 1004 centella ampoule, avene cicalfate cream, and cetaphil lotion sometimes. I haven’t touched the anua serum in a few days because I didn’t want to irritate further.
Help!
