Switching from iOS - What phone to get?

Hi, I want to switch from my iPhone to GrapheneOS. I went through this subreddit but to my surprise couldn't find many people asking which phones are most compatible and best phones in general for GOS?

My budget is $1k. I don't care about the camera but a decent screen with 120 Hz and around the size of an iPhone 16 Pro Max would be great.
